The so-called Church of the Pious Place, originally known as the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin and St. Joseph, stands at the edge of the urban void in Livorno's Piazza del Luogo Pio; it is part of the "Museum of the City."

It is a deconsecrated place of worship and is located in the New Venice neighborhood, a short distance from St. Ferdinand's Church. For some years, beginning in the latter part of the twentieth century, it housed the Seventh-day Adventist Christian Church.
