The Italian War History Museum in Rovereto is located in the 15th-century castle of Rovereto, the only Venetian fortress in Trentino.
In time, the museum moved on to include among its collections material pertaining to the Italian colonial wars and World War II. The collection, established thanks to public donations or donations from local associations and individuals, includes weapons, uniforms, artwork, photographs, memorabilia, posters, objects of daily use in the trenches, honors, letters and diaries.
The museum is coordinator of the Trentino Great War Network.
