Madonna de La Solitudine, Nuoro

The church of Our Lady of Solitude, in Sardinian: sa Solidae, is a small building very dear to the people of Nuoro, who, sensitive to devotion to the Virgin and the unspoiled environment, gathered there for the festival, with civic celebrations marked by dancing, local songs and abundant food: it is accessible from the road that then climbs, winding, to Mount Ortobene, surrounded by vegetation.
