Katun Roller Coaster
Facts and practical information
The Katun Roller Coaster is an adrenaline-pumping attraction nestled in the heart of Mirabilandia, Italy's largest amusement park. As one of the premier rides in the park, this inverted roller coaster has been thrilling visitors since its debut in the year 2000.
Standing at an imposing height of 50 meters, the Katun is not only the tallest but also the longest inverted coaster in Europe, offering a heart-stopping experience over its 1,200-meter-long track. Inspired by ancient Mayan civilization, the ride's theme adds an extra layer of excitement to the already electrifying experience.
Daring riders are suspended beneath the track, with their legs dangling freely, as they are whisked through a series of inversions, including a vertical loop, a cobra roll, and a series of corkscrews. The ride reaches speeds of up to 110 kilometers per hour, ensuring a high-octane adventure that is not for the faint-hearted.
