The co-cathedral of St. Mary of Nazareth more commonly known by the title Church of Nazareth, is a historically important church in the city of Barletta for having been the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Nazareth in Barletta prior to the present cathedral of St. Mary Major. It is located on Nazareth Street and stands adjacent to the Nazareth Archbishop's Palace, with which it forms one large complex having been the episcope of the archbishops themselves.
Built around 1570, it was built following the destruction of the previous cathedral that was located extra moenia and served as an archiepiscopal cathedral until 1818.
It later assumed the title of co-cathedral and at the present time is appended with the title "archbishop's church." Worship is officiated by a canon who takes the title Abbot of Nazareth. The church also is the seat of the Nazareth-Barletta section of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.
