Facts and practical information
The hermitage of San Gallo is a small religious complex, consisting of a small church with an attached hermit's dwelling, located on the top of the hill of the same name in Soligo, in the municipality of Farra di Soligo.
The terraced high ground on which the hermitage stands affords a wide view of the entire Quartier del Piave and the surrounding hills.
During the Christmas season, on the south front of the hill facing Soligo, it is possible to admire the St. Gallen Tree. A Christmas tree a full 112 meters tall and 65 meters wide, lit by 950 large white bulbs. Made in 1992, it is lit every year from December 8 to January 6.
