The Salvatore Citelli refuge is located in the municipality of Sant'Alfio on the northeastern slopes of Etna volcano, in the ancient caldera of an adventitious crater, Mount Concazze. Opened in 1935, it was totally renovated in 2011, thanks to the intervention of Etna Park, of which it has been Base Point No. 15 since 1987.
