The castle of Buronzo stands on a small rise in the middle of the upper Vercelli plain, in the center of the Baraggia. It is actually a rare example of a consortium castle or lordly receptacle formed by what remains of a complex of fortifications and houseforts built by the different branches of the Buronzo lordly family that entirely occupies the historic center of the municipality of the same name.
