The church of San Marco, is a religious building in L'Aquila. Built between the 13th and 14th centuries, it stands on the square of the same name, St. Mark's Square, whose space it shares with the church of St. Augustine, and is also in close proximity to the church of the Anime Sante. In 1902 it was declared a national monument. It was severely damaged by the 2009 earthquake and is currently uninhabitable. In August 22, 2015, the Veneto region adopted the church for reconstruction, but due to lack of funds the work is still stopped.
