The Osono Tomb of the Giants is a tomb of the giants, a typical funerary monument consisting of collective burials belonging to the Nuragic age and found throughout Sardinia, discovered in the early 1990s at Osono near Triei.
According to the archaeologists who led the excavation campaign, it is possible to date its construction to around 1600 B.C. ranking it among the oldest ever found. Its peculiarity is that it was built in two different times, the first part, with the central corridor, has been dated to 1600 B.C. while the exedra was added later, around 900 B.C.
