The church of San Pasquale Baylón is a Catholic place of worship in Trieste. It is located on Chiadino Hill, within the large park of Baron Pasquale Revoltella's aristocratic villa at 37 Carlo de Marchesetti Street.
The church, in neo-Romanesque style with a Greek-cross plan, was built in 1863-1866 to the design of architect Joseph Kranner of Prague, and was consecrated on May 17, 1867 by Bishop Bartholomew Legat.
The church stands on a plinth beneath which is a crypt where Baron Pasquale Revoltella and his mother Domenica are buried in two sarcophagi.
A testamentary disposition of October 13, 1866 by Baron Pasquale Revoltella constituted a Pious Foundation with the obligation for the chaplain to provide school instruction and spiritual assistance to the local villagers, and the celebration each year of two masses in suffrage of him and his mother, one on May 17, the feast of St. Pasquale Baylón, and one on August 15, the feast of the Assumption.
