Facts and practical information

Montozzi Castle is a castle located in the municipality of Laterina Pergine Valdarno, in the province of Arezzo, which existed in the 13th century. The castle fell into ruin at the end of the 14th century, but the village that grew up around it was maintained. In the 17th century the remains of the castle were incorporated into the palace of the Bartolini Baldelli family.

It rises about 450 m above sea level on a hill overlooking the Upper Valdarno and Valdambra valleys.
