The State Archaeological Museum of Arcevia is housed in the premises of the former convent of San Francesco in Corso Mazzini. It houses a rich collection of artifacts from the Arcevia area, starting with flint artifacts from Ponte di Pietra and ending with the furnishings of Gallic burials from Montefortino.
Since December 2014, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities has managed it through the Polo Museale delle Marche, which became the Regional Directorate of Museums in December 2019.
