Santuario della Madonna dell'Aiuto, Bobbio

The shrine of Our Lady of Help, is a non-parochial church building in Bobbio in the province of Piacenza, dependent on the parish of Santa Maria Assunta.

The 17th-century sanctuary-basilica stands near the hamlet of Corgnate, once outside the center of the town's urban fabric, as with the monastery of St. Francis: this is the medieval hamlet known as the "extrinsic hamlet," next to today's historic center, which retained its original name of Bobium.

The facade opens in front of Garibaldi Street facing the old hospital with a semicircular shape.

Inside the shrine, one descends into the former 15th-century small church known as the "Church of the Annunciation of Mary" where there is the shrine with the "miraculous shrine" and the ancient shrine of Our Lady of Help.

Since 1954 Our Lady of Help has been patroness of the city of Bobbio and a minor basilica since 1970.

The annual feast of the shrine is June 5, and in May the ancient celebration of Marian month is held.
