The shrine of Our Lady of Pasano is a Catholic shrine in Sava, in the province of Taranto, of Byzantine origin. The present elevation is from a rebuilding that took place in 1712, close to the ancient Byzantine shrine On the central altar of the new shrine is an icon of the Virgin Odigitria with Child. It is a dexiokratousa Odigitria. The Virgin is painted on a large stone slab and it is a block removed from the older church. The latter building, which was never entirely torn down, and is set close to the altar of the new one: it had been repurposed for other uses and disguised, but years ago it was rediscovered and is being renovated.
