Villa Arvedi, Verona

Facts and practical information
Villa Allegri, Arvedi is the largest Venetian villa in the province of Verona, located in the hamlet of Cuzzano in the municipality of Grezzana, in the middle of Valpantena and 9 km from Verona.
The present Baroque-style building was built by architect Giovanni Battista Bianchi in the mid-17th century, although the presence of a structure is documented as far back as the 13th century. The adjacent small church and the large hall on the second floor turn out to be frescoed by Ludovico Dorigny. Other paintings are by Paolo Farinati and Sante Prunati.
In 1824 it was purchased by Giovanni Antonio Arvedi and is still owned by the family.
