The bishop's chapel of Sant'Egidio, formerly attached to the Cluniac abbey of the same name suppressed in 1473, is a place of Catholic worship located in the Fontanella district of the municipality of Sotto il Monte Giovanni XXIII, in the province of Bergamo.
The church, a parish church until 1998, is the seat of the episcopal rectory of the same name, belonging to the diocese of Bergamo. In the small Fontanella cemetery located a few dozen meters from the bishop's chapel, Cardinal Loris Francesco Capovilla, secretary of Pope John XXIII, and Father David Maria Turoldo are buried.
