Palazzo Margherita is a historic building in L'Aquila, home to the city's town hall. Built in the 13th century as the Regia Curia del Capitano.The palace was profoundly restored in the 16th century to become the residence of Governor Margaret of Austria, after whom it was named. Reconstruction work on the palace began on November 4, 2016, and is scheduled to be completed in 2020.
