The Pavia Museum of Electrical Technology was opened in March 2007.
Its implementation is made possible thanks to an agreement made between the University of Pavia, the Lombardy Region, the Province and the Municipality of Pavia.
The museum is part of the University of Pavia's Athenaeum Museum system.
Its intent is to inform, research, preserve and popularize the history of electrical technology.
