The National Archaeological Museum of Fratta Polesine is a state museum, opened on February 21, 2009. It is located inside the northern barchessa of the Palladian complex of Villa Badoer and is the result of more than 40 years of archaeological research in the Polesine territory, particularly regarding the Late Bronze Age. The artifacts on display, among the most notable certainly in the European context, refer to the villages that arose near the ancient Po River during the Final Bronze Age, between the 12th and 10th centuries B.C.: the most substantial corpus of artifacts leads back to the village of Frattesina and its associated necropolis, discovered in the Narde and Fondo Zanotto localities in Fratta Polesine.
Since December 2014, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities has managed it through the Polo Museale del Veneto, which became the Regional Directorate of Museums in December 2019.
