Facts and practical information
Montea is one of the highest peaks in the Lucanian Apennines and Pollino National Park. It rises in the municipal territory of Sant'Agata di Esaro and reaches 1,825 meters above sea level. Montea also consists of several peaks. Also on it is possible to admire the very famous devil's finger of limestone origin.
