The Luigi Brasca Refuge is an alpine hut located in the municipality of Novate Mezzola, in Val Codera, a side valley of Valchiavenna, at 1,304 m above sea level.Val Codera is one of the last permanently inhabited year-round alpine valleys without road access. The Refuge was built in the 1930s, then destroyed by Nazi-Fascist troops and rebuilt after the war was over
