Facts and practical information
Punta Sivella is a 2,523 m high mountain located in the Pennine Alps between the municipalities of Campertogno and Rassa. Although it is not a very high or difficult mountain to reach, Sivella has been of symbolic importance, especially to the Campertogno people, because of the grandeur with which it overlooks Valsesia and the fact that a votive chapel with a large crucifix is placed at the top of the peak at which, on the last Sunday of August each year, a mass is celebrated.
