The Celso Gilberti Refuge is an alpine hut in the province of Udine, located at 1,850 m above sea level in the Julian Alps, above Sella Nevea, in the territory of the municipality of Chiusaforte, on a rocky prominence on the northwest slope of the Mount Canin group, which with Mount Forato and Ursic form the long limestone wall of the Italian-Slovenian border to the southeast. It can be reached from the valley floor either on foot by trail or by a modern gondola and is part of the Italian-Slovenian Canin ski area, with views sweeping over the Canin peaks themselves, the Jôf Fuârt-Montasio Chain to the north, and the upper Raccolana Valley.
