Facts and practical information
The church of Sant'Anna, along with the adjacent Conservatory of the same name, is a Baroque building in Lecce's historic center built in 1680 and commissioned by Teresa Paladini, per the testamentary request of her husband Bernardino Verardi.
It presents a simple, linear architectural structure with a classical imprint and repeats the same compositional design as the main facade of the cathedral, which suggests its attribution to the same author, Giuseppe Zimbalo.
