Lago Sirio

Lago Sirio, Lake Sirio - a glacial lake in the Canavese region, in the north of Piedmont in Italy within the municipalities of Ivrei and Chiaverano and the northern part of the moraine amphitheater.
Sirio Lake, formerly known as San Giuseppe, has one source. The previous name of the lake came from the monastery. The hills around the Sirio Lake were created from hard dioritic rocks that did not undergo the erosion of glaciers.
Since 1887, the lake association of Lake Sirio has been operating at the lake. Access to the water reservoir is possible from the south-west and eastern side.
