The Doria-Malaspina castle was a defensive building located on Via Castello overlooking the village of Calice al Cornoviglio, in the middle and lower Vara valley in the province of La Spezia. The building now houses some municipal and tourist offices and the Environmental Education Center of the Montemarcello-Magra Regional Natural Park; the other two floors of the building also house the beekeeping museum, the David Beghè picture gallery, and the small Pietro Rosa museum.
