Oratorio di Sant'Apollonia, Costabissara
Facts and practical information
The Oratory of St. Apollonia is a small church located in Costabissara on Via Roma, at the beginning of the stretch of road formerly called de la Fontana di Fabri after the spring that flowed near the building. Commonly known for its dedication to St. Apollonia, it was initially also dedicated to Our Lady of Health.
It was erected in 1642 by the Bissarian curate Teodoro Bacchi, rector of the parish church in Torreselle, who owned a building and a plot of land in which he had already sought permission to build a church in 1640.
