Facts and practical information
The church of San Giovanni Battista is a religious building located in Pula, a town in southeastern Sardinia. Consecrated to Catholic worship, it is the seat of the parish of the same name and is part of the archdiocese of Cagliari. The church, located in the center of the town, dates back to the 19th century. It preserves two marble sarcophagi inside, one presumably from the nearby Punic city of Nora and the other from the church of San Francesco in Cagliari. The latter would contain the remains of the duchess of San Pietro Agostina Deroma, who died in 1759.
