Schloss Darfeld

The moated castle Darfeld is a manor house, former knight's seat, former official residence and architectural monument in the Bauerschaft Netter near the village of Darfeld in the municipality of Rosendahl, Coesfeld district, North Rhine-Westphalia, at 95 m above sea level.
It was severely damaged after a fire on October 15, 1899 and rebuilt in its present form in 1902-1904. From the construction period 1612-1618, the main preserved feature is the Mannerist facade facing the inner courtyard.
The moated castle is privately inhabited to this day. It is not possible to visit it.
