The Church of Mercy is one of the churches in Turin, located at 41 Barbaroux Street. It is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. It owes its name to the Arciconfraternita della Misericordia, which took possession and renovated it in the 18th century, so named because its members were responsible for comforting those condemned to death, accompanying them to the gallows, taking care of their subsequent funeral, and having masses celebrated in suffrage of their souls.
