The National Archaeological Museum of Melfi is a museum located in the castle of Melfi, which houses archaeological evidence found in the Vulture-Melfese area concerning indigenous peoples of prehistoric, Daunian, Samnite, Roman, Byzantine, and Norman periods.
Since December 2014, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities has managed it through the Basilicata Museum Pole, which became the Regional Directorate of Museums in December 2019.
