Facts and practical information

The church and convent of the Capuchin friars stands on the Garampo hill, also known as Monte Oliveto because of its many olive trees, immediately behind the city of Cesena. It can be reached by passing through the ancient Porta Montanara gate and walking a few hundred meters along Via Garampa lined with the Stations of the Cross.

Of relatively more recent construction than the other Cesena complexes, it preserves Guercino's splendid painting of St. Francis receiving the Stigmata.
