Castello Malaspina Fieschi-Doria, Santo Stefano d'Aveto

The Malaspina-Doria castle is a historic building located in Piazza del Popolo in Santo Stefano d'Aveto, in the Aveto Valley.

Its structure is considered one of the most interesting defensive works in the province of Genoa and Liguria. The castle is located in the center of the wide basin on the slopes of Mount Maggiorasca, visible in the background of the castle, and surrounded almost entirely by meadows and not far from the present-day town of Santo Stefano.
