The church of San Giacomo is a building in Saronno. It was built thanks to the Saronno patrician Ambrogio Legnani. The church was dedicated to Saints Ambrose, Charles, Philip and James, according to the donor's wishes. It was designed in 1578 and was finished in 1612.
On the walls are painted frescoes by Stefano Maria Legnani of Giacomo Antonio Santagostino, and there is an altarpiece on the altar depicting the Madonna and Child, Saints James and Ambrose, and Charles Borromeo, surrounded by angels.
