Taipana

Taipana is a comune in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 80 kilometres northwest of Trieste and about 20 kilometres northeast of Udine, on the border with Slovenia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 737 and an area of 65.6 square kilometres. According to the census 1971 74,4% of the population are Slovenes. ()
