Facts and practical information

The Antiquarium Arborense is the most important museum in Oristano. This mainly preserves archaeological finds from the nuraghi in the area and the city of Tharros. It also houses important Spanish handicrafts from the 15th-16th centuries.

Of particular historical significance to the city, two medieval inscriptions document the construction of the tower and walls, dating back to the 13th century AD.
