The church of San Simaco Papa is a religious building located in Simaxis, a town in central Sardinia. Built in 1833 and consecrated to Catholic worship, it is the seat of the parish of the same name and is part of the archdiocese of Oristano.
According to popular tradition, unsubstantiated by reliable documents, the church was built where there was the paternal home of the saint, Saint Simmachus, who because of the similarity of the name is believed to have been born in Simaxis.
