The church of San Pietro is a religious building located in Ploaghe, a town in northwestern Sardinia. The church is located in the square of the same name, between the church of Santa Croce and the oratory of the Rosary. Built in the 15th century and consecrated to Catholic worship, it is the seat of the parish of the same name and is part of the archdiocese of Sassari.
The first mentions of the church of St. Peter are in the condaghe of St. Peter in Silki in which it is reported as "Sanctu Petru de Plovake." From 1090 to 1503 it was the cathedral of the ancient diocese of Ploaghe. It is today the titular episcopal see.
