The Port of Bocca d'Arno is the port of Pisa, located in the Bocca d'Arno area in the seaside resort of Marina di Pisa, was opened to the public on June 30, 2013.
It has an entrance facing southwest and connects with the large existing nautical area on the left bank of the Arno River where there are dozens of small storage facilities that already offer about two thousand berths. Located in the largest natural park in the Tuscany region and just a few minutes' drive from the "Galileo Galilei" international airport.
Since its inception, the idea of implanting a marina in the mouth of Arno has received criticism and has been the subject of controversy, starting with environmental and historical considerations both from Legambiente and others.
