The Romanesque church of Sant'Eufemia in Incino d'Erba is one of the oldest former plebian churches in the Larian Triangle, the province of Como and the Archdiocese of Milan. The parish of Incino is one of the largest and oldest parish churches in the area, the church is located on the ancient road axis that connected Aquileia Brescia, Bergamo, Como and Ivrea also mentioned in the Tavola Peutingeriana. Incino is mentioned by Pliny the Younger as Licini forum.
