Carpinete Castle is a medieval castle built before 1077 in Carpineti, in the province of Reggio Emilia, straddling the Secchia and Tresinaro valleys; it is one of the largest in the Reggio Emilia Apennines. Next to the castle entrance is the church of Sant'Andrea, consecrated in 1117.
