Facts and practical information
The Municipal Palace of La Spezia, overlooking today's Piazza Europa, is a building erected in 1933 by architect Franco Oliva in the typical rationalist style of the time.
It features massive architecture barely lightened by a high portico, a tall square corner tower, and a polygonal arengarium loggia. The arengarium parapet has been left without the Carrara marble sculptural covering originally planned by sculptor Augusto Magli.
Four arched windows open on the facade toward the square, encompassing multiple floors of the building.
