Facts and practical information
Dating back to the late Middle Ages, the stronghold of San Didero is at the center of the small town in the Susa Valley and was once the domain of several noble families in the mid-Susa Valley area, including the Bertrandi of San Giorio and Chianocco and the Grosso of Bruzolo. It is one of the few castles in the Susa Valley that is now publicly owned and is currently being restored for a bed and breakfast.
