The bell tower of San Martino, also known as Ciucarun or tower of San Martino is all that remains of the ancient settlement of Paerno. It is a Romanesque-style bell tower dated between the 11th and 12th centuries adorned with double lancet windows on the top floor and equipped with loopholes. Built on the Serra Morenica of Ivrea on a privately owned plateau near the town of Bollengo.
