The Romanesque Pieve di San Pietro constitutes Volpedo's main historical monument. Already mentioned in 10th-century documents, it was remodeled in the 15th century. Inside are frescoes, some also valuable, attributed to the school of Manfredino and Franceschino Boxilio from Tortona, a school also active at Milan Cathedral.
