Facts and practical information
The port of Marina di Salivoli is the port of the town of the same name located northwest of the center of Piombino, in the municipal area of the same name. It is the northernmost port of the Tyrrhenian Sea, which takes on the name of Ligurian Sea north of Punta Falcone, a promontory that dominates the landing place from the west. Opened in the year 2000, it is the closest place on the peninsula to Corsica, being in fact 83 km from Rogliano. It is bordered by the equipped beach of Salivoli and the beach known as "dello Scoglio d'Orlando," which can be reached through the harbor itself, a pebbly cove between the rock of the same name and the eastern root of Punta Falcone.
