Facts and practical information
The church of San Francesco di Paola, formerly known as San Francesco al Molo, is a Catholic place of worship in Cagliari. It stands on Via Roma, in the Marina district.
The temple, officiated by the Friars Minor, is dedicated to the saint, co-patron saint of the city since 1907, to whom was attributed the miracle of having freed Cagliari from the drought of 1739. On that occasion the Municipality made a vow, which is fulfilled annually with a celebration held in the church and a procession to the sea on the 13th of May..
