Facts and practical information
Palazzo Guasco Gallarati di Bisio is a historic building in Alexandria, located on the Guasco street of the same name; its history dates back to the first centuries since the founding of the city.
The right wing of the palace is, today, home to several sections of the provincial administration: the Economy and Development Department of the Province of Alexandria, the Provincial Library of Local Publishing, the Institute for the History of the Resistance and Contemporary Society, and the "Carlo Carrà" Gallery of Modern Art.
Some of the palace's halls, which preserve the 18th-century architectural structure, are awaiting restoration. The left wing of the palace, however, is still private property.
