Facts and practical information
The church of San Teodoro di Congius is a religious building located in the territory of Simaxis, a town in central Sardinia. Built between the 7th and 8th centuries and dedicated to Theodore of Amasea, a military saint in the Byzantine tradition, the church has undergone heavy restoration work that has compromised its architectural legibility. The building is located a short distance from the ruins of the churches of St. Nicholas of Myra and the Angel.
